About me
My history
Before embarking on my formal music education at the conservatory, my journey with music began with the humble recorder. Taught by my beloved aunt during the first grade, I would sit by the window, playing tunes from my favorite movies and creating melodies that echoed through our house. In the second grade, my teacher proudly showcased my recorder skills to motivate older students, an experience that not only boosted my confidence but also made me feel like a musician on a concert tour.
Our family’s move to a new vibrant environment marked the beginning of my exploration with different instruments. Thanks to my father’s sacrifices and private music lessons, I delved into learning the mandolin and violin. The excitement peaked in the third grade when I encountered a piano in the theater hall of our elementary school. The magic of touching the piano keys for the first time, the enchanting harmonies, and the bewitching sounds left an indelible mark on my musical journey. Even though I couldn’t comprehend the adult listeners’ comments, this experience laid the foundation for my enduring connection with the piano.
As I entered the conservatory, the piano became an unexpected companion alongside my primary instrument, the French horn. Despite the inner voice questioning my choice, urging me to conform to the traditional path of horn playing, I found solace in the piano’s improvisational allure. The echoes of my first improvisation in the conservatory’s theater hall persisted throughout my musical career. Despite the lingering doubts, the audience’s positive feedback after my piano concerts serves as a powerful response, reinforcing the belief that my unique musical journey is worth pursuing.
